Koh Kong Special Economic ZoneKoh Kong SEZ industrial estate is a subsidiary of LYP group under the group president H.E. Oknha Ly Yong Phat. Upon his appointment to be Cambodia Government Delegate of Koh Kong province development, he foresaw the importance of industrial estate with his vision and decided to build Koh Kong SEZ industrial estate with collaboration of Cambodia Government agencies. After the establishment, the industrial park received many interests from all over Asia.
Location is the most important factor for business success. Cambodia is sandwiched between two of the most industrialised cities in all of Southeast Asia; Bangkok, Thailand and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Koh Kong SEZ industrial park is located on the western seaboard of Cambodia. The industrial estate is 330 kilometers from Laem Chabang port of Thailand, 285 kilometers from the port of Ha Tien in Vietnam, and 233 kilometers from Cambodia's main seaport Sihanoukville port.
The industrial park provides ease-of-access to seaside trading to Thailand and Vietnam. Furthermore, the recent completion of National Road No.48 and the new expansion of road and highway to Thailand make Koh Kong SEZ an excellent location that provides convenient transportation — where import and export goods can be in transit through Laem Chabang port, Thailand and directly to the factory gate.
